Snow Blasts Region AGAIN, Residents & Businesses Dig Out AGAIN
New England residents are dealing with another thick blanket of snow in a winter that has already left mini mountains on street corners and in empty yards. When parking bans finally are lifted, there’s virtually nowhere to park and it’s got us wondering what cities and towns are going to do? At what point do they have to haul the heaps of plowed white stuff away? And when they do – where does it go? We’ll ask Stan Koty, who is the Commissioner of the Department of Public Works for the City of Somerville. Plus, how is this season’s snowfall affecting retail business on Boston’s major shopping thoroughfare – Newbury St.? We’ll be joined by Charles Talanian, the president of C. Talanian Realty Co.
