Despite Accusations, Jeff Perry Lands $110k Job In Sheriff’s Dept.
Jeff Perry, the former state representative whose unsuccessful campaign for Congress was dogged by accusations that, while a police officer, he failed to properly supervise a subordinate conducting a strip search has been named second in command at the Barnstable County Sheriff's department. Sheriff Jim Cummings says the former Republican lawmaker's background as a lawyer, officer and state representative will be valuable to the department. WGBH’s Sean Corcoran has spoken with Sherriff Cummings, and joins us with the latest.
