Sit-In At The State House
A $400 million spending bill, held up for a week by Republicans, won approval in the House Monday morning and heads to the Senate Monday afternoon for its consideration. Rep. Karyn Polito, who had been single-handedly blocking the bill since late last week, sprinted into the chamber at 10:02 a.m., moments after the bill passed. She emerged seconds later from the chamber, winded and promising to block the bill again when it returns for a final enactment vote. She joins us by phone.
