Down the Line—A Behind The Scenes Documentary About Fenway Park
Fenway Grounds Crew81 times this spring, summer and fall, 37-plus thousand people will descend on Kenmore Square in Boston and file into legendary Fenway Park to take in a Red Sox Game. By the time the first hotdogs have been eaten and the first pitch thrown, a dedicated clubhouse staff will have already put in a full-days work—preparing the field, washing the uniforms, making sure every glove, bat, and ball is in its right place. That dedicated “team behind the team” is celebrated in a new documentary, Down the Line, airing on the MLB Network and produced by a couple of lifelong Red Sox fans—Colin and Nick Barnicle—who join us to discuss the unsung people who quietly make every Red Sox home game a possibility.
