In 2003, an American diplomat wrote a New York Times op-ed suggesting the Iraqi nuclear threat had been exaggerated. This did not go over well in the White House and his actions allegedly resulted in the exposure of his wife as a CIA operative. Ambassador Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame Wilson join us to discuss the jarring reality of sudden fame, the draw-down in Iraq and their reactions to Former Vice President Dick Cheney’s new book. They’ll be at Boston’s Symphony Hall on Weds., Nov. 30 for a lecture that’s part of the Boston Speakers Series.
