Local Rock Doc About The Kinks Makes Boston TV Debut
As Boston Globe staff writer Geoff Edgers approached his 40th birthday, he didn't buy a convertible or get a tattoo. He didn't pierce his ear or leave his wife. He simply set off on a year long quest to do the impossible: reunite his favorite band, The Kinks. Quixotic? Perhaps. Entertaining? Unquestionably. We talk with Edgers, who chronicled his adventure in the documentary, Do It Again. The film makes its Boston-area television debut tonight at 9pm on WGBH Channel 2. This interview originally aired April 2010.
