Whitey Bulger Arrested
Whitey Bulger and Catherine Greig We figured something must be up – just two days ago the FBI stepped up its search for Whitey Bulger’s girlfriend Catherine Grieg – and since they were targeted TV viewers in the USA with public service announcements  we were guessing the FBI knew Whitey was somewhere in the country. And sure enough he was. Last night the FBI picked up Whitey and Catherine at their home in Santa Monica. Initial reports say he is not in good health and that he did not resist arrest we'll hear some great old sound from interviews we’ve done over the years with some of the people Whitey shook down and from his onetime ally in the FBI John Connolly. And we check in with crime reporter Casey Sherman, WGBH's Jared Bowen, The Boston Herald's Howie Carr, The Boston Globe's Kevin Cullen, All Soul's author Michael Patrick MacDonald in California, Thomas Hussey - who is the father of a Bulger victim and the LA Times' Andrew Blankstein.
