Barack Obama, John Boehner, Debt CeilingFacing a fast-approaching deadline for raising the U.S. borrowing limit, President Barack Obama and congressional negotiators resume deficit-cutting talks this afternoon. In the meantime – the president says he will not consider temporary stopgap measures to avoid default. Our regular Monday political roundtable goes behind the political wrangling.
