Gov. May Be Planning Salary Cut For State Lawmakers: This week we’ll get some clarity on a question looming large in the minds of at least some members of state government: Will legislator’s salaries go up, down or stay the same? By order of an amendment to the Massachusetts constitution –  the Gov. has the authority to re-set salaries every two years based on what's happened to typical Massachusetts household incomes. There has been no announcement as of yet, but some say Gov. Patrick is preparing to unveil at least a symbolic cut to legislators’ base salary of $61,440. Republican Senator Robert Hedlund, Republican State Representative-Elect Dan Winslow and Democratic Representative Linda Dorcena Forry join us with their thoughts.
