Local Made Good: E.J. Meyers
Providence filmmaker E.J. Meyers has landed a big endorsement for his first film project. The thirty-one-year-old received the blessing of horror master Stephen King to use King's short story, "Ten O'Clock People," as the basis for a short film. Meyers wrote the screenplay - which is set in Boston - and raised the funds to finance the film. Filming begins in the fall, and E.J. Meyers has enlisted Matrix actor Clayton Watson to star. It will debut it at film festivals early next year.
