When he was ordained in New Hampshire in 2003, Bishop Gene Robinson became the first openly gay bishop of the Episcopal Church. Just seven years later, he has announced his early retirement, citing the controversy and threats that have accompanied him since his ordination rocked the Anglican church. We're joined by Bishop Robinson today. We'll ask him about his decision to retire, his perspective on where we are as a nation, and how equality can be reconciled with and held up by faith.
