Politics Roundtable
From Beantown to the beltway- we’ll talk through it all on our political roundtable. The Boston City Council preliminaries left us with more of the same, and something completely different. District Three (Dorchester, Mattapan) served up the same old same old with two Dorchester residents fighting for long time city councilor Maureen Feeney’s seat. In District Two (South End, South Boston, Chinatown), newcomer Suzanne Lee beat out won more votes than sitting city councilor Bill Linehan. Stateside, Elizabeth Warren's big splash is leaving opponents in her wake- Setti Warren bailed out of the Senate race. On the national stage, Chris Christie gets courted big time by the GOP, and Obama gives Democrats a dose of tough love.

Guests:
Robert Fortes, Republican political strategist
Erin O’Brien, associate professor of political science at UMass Boston
Marvin Venay, executive director of The Massachusetts Black and Latino Democratic Legislative Caucus
