National Urban League Hits Boston

Boston rolls out the welcome mat for the National Urban League this week. One of the nation’s largest civil rights organizations convenes in the Commonwealth for it’s annual national conference. The agenda driving the event is largely jobs, and the NUL will present a comprehensive job plan aimed to relive those distressed by the chronic effects of the economic fallout– from the foreclosure crisis, to unrelenting unemployment rates.

National Urban League president Marc Morial joins us fresh from a meeting with president Obama. We’ll get Morial’s take on what needs to be done to rebuild America.
