The Second District
The Second District is the brainchild of Hartford police officer Mark Manson and career criminal Felix Soto. The two envisioned a deep crime drama plucked from the streets of Hartford, following gang members, police officers and politicians as they work for - and around - the laws holding the fragile community in place. The pilot for the show was a hit at the New York film festival last year, and the series has been picked up by AMGTV for an initial run of ten episodes.
We're joined today by Mark Manson, creator and executive producer of The Second District, along with LoDeon, the actor who plays the high-ranking gang member Johnny "Chino" Ortiz in The Second District.
