Chosen to be part of this weekend's Boston Independent Film Festival, PUSH: Madison Vs. Madison follows the winning season of an inner city basketball team- Madison Park Vocational High School in Roxbury. The film follows "a handful of sharp shooters and savvy ball-handlers, who also struggle, both on and off the court, with the turbulence of life in the Boston inner city: rival gangs, a chilling murder rate, destructive families, and the struggle to stay in school and on the team." Filmmaker Rudy Hypolite and Madison Park head basketball coach Dennis G. Wilson join us. For screening information, visit the IFF website.
