City Councilor Ayanna Pressley is calling for an investigation after a recent incident in which black students and alumni from Harvard and Yale were kicked out prematurely from a party they were attending at the at Cure Lounge in the heart of Boston. The students allege that club owners explained that they were worried the crowd would attract "local gangbangers." The incident has inflamed students, who say that they were victims of overt racism. Today we'll hear from Councilor Pressley, a third year student at Harvard Law school who was present at the club that night, and a spokesperson for the club. We're also joined by WGBH's Senior Investigative Reporter, Phillip Martin, who has reported on the racial divisions in Boston's nightlife.
