Communication Technologies And Healthcare: Web-based communications have become standard for many areas of life, but there's one industry where new technologies have remained conspicuously absent - healthcare. We'll look at why, and whether healthcare would benefit from more doctor/patient communication in cyberspace. We're joined by Dr. Ronald Dixon, an internist and the director of the Virtual Practice Project at Massachusetts General Hospital; and Dr. Tara Lagu , Physician Researcher in the Center for Quality Care Research at Baystate Medical Center and Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine.
The Tea Party Movement: Jill Lepore, a staff writer at The New Yorker and profesor of American History at Harvard University, joins us to talk about her new book, The Whites of Their Eyes: The Tea Party's Revolution and the Battle over American History.
