Today, we have a special edition Local Made Good in which we celebrate the achievements of two very special New Englanders - Oscar the cat, and Alexis the German shepherd. Oscar has accompanied many elders at the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in their last days of life, and somehow senses when residents are about to pass away. Alexis is trying out a new kind of prosthetic limb that doctors hope can be used in the future for disabled veterans. Their caretakers join us.
