We're dipping into the tidepool of journalism, into the newsrooms where nascent journos hone their craft and launch their careers: the college newspaper. Boston is home to more than 50 colleges and universities, and there are hundreds more throughout New England. In between classes, jobs and extracurriculars college news writers churn out copy on everything- from sports to campus events to the Occupy movement. Today, we talk with editors from Northeastern University's independent student newspaper Huntington News, Boston University's independent students newspaper The Daily Free Press, and Worcester's Quinsigamond Community College about the stories their papers are covering.
