I have recently finished the Aurelio Zen Books. Enjoyed Vendetta last week. CABAL was a total shock... Good thing the author is deceased. Totally missed the body falling in the Vatican. Seems to have moved to a bridge??? And it went downhill from there. Dont think the rest of the story was even close... Seems like Zen spent some time with a Cardinal and the Vatican Staff... It was enjoyable but I think you have to add the word "loosely" when you claim it was based on a Michael Dibdin novel..
