María Hinojosa is an award-winning journalist and author. In addition to hosting One-on-One, Hinojosa is the managing editor and host of public radio’s Latino USA. Fomerly, she was a senior correspondent for the PBS newsmagazine program NOW.

Latino USA with Maria Hinojosa
Since 1993, NPR’s Latino USA has been documenting one of the most incredible transformations of American life and reality—the exploding Latino population and its integration in the a changing America.

Lupe Ontiveros is a stage, television, and screen actress as well as producer and community activist. An institution in Hollywood's Latino circles, she is one of the few actors capable of working in both English and Spanish. She is best known for her roles as La Nacha in the Oscar-nominated film El Norte, as Juanita Solis in the ABC hit series Desperate Housewives, and as Carmen Garcia in the popular film Real Women Have Curves. Ontiveros touches on a number of issues, among them the role of women in Hollywood.
