María Hinojosa is an award-winning journalist and author. In addition to hosting One-on-One, Hinojosa is the managing editor and host of public radio’s Latino USA. Fomerly, she was a senior correspondent for the PBS newsmagazine program NOW.

Latino USA with Maria Hinojosa

Anthony Romero is the Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union, a non-profit which works to defend the individual rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Romero, an alumnus of Stanford Law School and Princeton University, is the first Latino and the first openly gay man to hold his position.
Under Romero’s leadership, which began just days before the September 11 attacks, the ACLU has grown to an organization of more than 500,000 people, and has successfully challenged several efforts to limit civil liberties.
