Live From Lincoln Center

Live From Lincoln Center brings live performances of opera, drama, music, and dance direct from the stages of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City into American homes, making the world's greatest artists accessible to a nationwide audience. It remains the only series of regularly scheduled live broadcast performances on American television today.

The New York Philharmonic’s opening night gala features music director Alan Gilbert conducting the US premiere of Jazz Symphony, Wynton Marsalis’s new work for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and the Philharmonic.
