Featuring Richard Twardzik 4/30/10

Pianist Richard Twardzik (b. Danvers, MA, 4/30/1931) is one of many tragic figure of Jazz, who died from a drug overdose at the age of 24. He made only one recording as a leader, with the likes of Charlie Mariano and Chet Baker. On this edition of Jazz on WGBH, Steve Scwartz features cuts from that recording.
