In the August issue of the WGBH Explore! Program Guide, 89.7 Managing Director Phil Redo explains the decision and adds, "As part of these changes, Steve Schwartz is leaving WGBH after 27 years. Steve is a jazz radio legend in his own right—and along with his many fans, all of us at WGBH thank him for his many contributions."
