Host Steve Schwartz celebrates the music of trumpeter Claudio Roditi (born May 28, 1946, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). After graduating from the Berklee College of Music, Roditi became a staple on the Boston jazz scene. He is best known for his work with Paquito D'Rivera and Dizzy Gillespie's United Nation Orchestra.

Host Eric Jackson shines the Monday night spotlight on legendary tenor and soprano saxophonist John Coltrane and his classic quartet of the early 1960s, with McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass, and Elvin Jones on drums.
