The Black Panther Mixtape was fascinating. It puts a kind, human face on a racist, murderous, violent, antiSemitic black power organization.
Now it would be nice to produce a similarly sweet KKK Mixtape whose aggrieved members were equally racist, murderous, violent and antiSemitic. I am sure there are eloquent interviews on tape of leaders of this widely misunderstood white power organization.
"The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975" unreels long-unseen footage of America's black power movement, featuring scenes of Harlem, Brooklyn and Oakland; and interviews with such notables as Stokely Carmichael, Angela Davis and Eldridge Cleaver.
