Cinematographers Vilmos Zsigmond and Laszlo Kovacs took Hollywood by storm, escaping the Soviet oppression of the Hungarian Revolution and rising to fame with classic films like Easy Rider, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and The Deer Hunter.
