Theater: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Caretaker and Sleep No More
Oct. 15, 2009
Jared Bowen and theater critic Terry Byrne join Emily on three productions in and around Boston: Playing at the Boston Center for the Arts is Edward Albee's “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” an exploration of the illusions of marriage. Cambridge’s Central Square Theater kicks off its second season with “The Caretaker,” a play about an elderly tramp who moves in with two brothers. The A.R.T. is presenting “Sleep No More,” inspired by Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” but told through the lens of a Hitchcock thriller, at the Old Lincoln School in Brookline.
