Sept. 22, 2009 : Fallout from the Hyatt layoffs of nearly 100 workers

Last month, Hyatt Corp. dismissed 98 housekeepers and replaced them with lower-paid, outsourced workers. The hotel giant is trying to soften the blow by extending health care benefits to its former employees, but those affected are saying it's not enough. Emily talks about the impact of the layoffs with Lucine Williams, a former Hyatt employee,  Brian Lang, Vice President of the union advocating for the workers, and Fred Foulkes, of the Boston University School of Management.
