Emily, I also wouldve thought that EVERYONE knew about this. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I raised the question with a couple of men who were holding signs for Jeff Perry just last Saturday and they had not been aware of the incidents. In my opinion, it is the responsibility of those supporting a candidate to fully vett them. Not everyone feels that way.

Good Stuff, Emily, on Jeff Perry but you bared the rightwing fangs a bit. I was somewhat surprised that nobody suggested that the victims wadein at this time might have been prompted by the police chiefs recent walk back on his earlier criticism. Im with totally Tolman on this! willso

It’s been an issue from day one -- Republican Jeff Perry’s role in the illegal strip search of two teenage girl when he was a cop. Today, one victim broke her silence, saying Perry did nothing to stop his former partner from conducting the illegal search. Republican State Senator Bob Hedlund, former Democratic State Senator Warren Tolman and political analyst Dan Payne debate how this could change the race.
