Mar. 7, 2011: Mass. union leaders negotiate health care costs

As cities and towns across the Commonwealth struggle with skyrocketing health insurance costs, there's increasing political interest in cutting health benefits for public employees without going through collective bargaining. But today at the State House some of Massachusetts’ biggest unions said: Not so fast. Emily is joined by New Bedford Mayor Scott Lang, Massachusetts Municipal Association executive director Geoffrey Beckwith and Massachusetts Teachers Association president Paul Toner.
