The art of enjoying the summer just got a whole lot easier, with reviews, previews and highlights, courtesy of WGBHArts. Greater Boston's arts reporter Jared Bowen leads a group of bloggers, previewing and reviewing the summer's top arts events. 

Boston Symphony Orchestra maestro James Levine announced his early retirement yesterday. While Levine is credited with revamping the BSO during his seven year tenure, persistent health issues forced him to miss numerous performances. Emily is joined by Lloyd Schwartz, classical music critic for The Boston Phoenix and longtime BSO season ticket holder Avi Nelson.
