The art of enjoying the summer just got a whole lot easier, with reviews, previews and highlights, courtesy of WGBHArts. Greater Boston's arts reporter Jared Bowen leads a group of bloggers, previewing and reviewing the summer's top arts events. 

Growing up in Haverhill during the mid-1970s, Andre Dubus III’s childhood was filled with fighting and violence. But he later turned to writing – which gave him both a positive outlet and a chance to reconnect with his father, Andre Dubus II, also an acclaimed author. Andre Dubus III joins Emily to discuss his troubled childhood and his new memoir, Townie.
