Last week, pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, Inc. announced a multi-million dollar partnership with leading Boston-area hospitals, medical schools and universities. Pfizer is hoping the collaboration will expedite the development of new drugs. Is the arrangement good for curing diseases, or will it boost Pfizer’s bottom line? Science reporter and author Alison Bass joins Eileen.
