I feel Mr. Cahill was quite tactful when he responded to Ms. Rooneys question about fair representation by the media during the campaign. I remember watching an episode of Greater Boston around the time of the Loscocco defection where only a Democratic and Republican pundit were invited on the show to comment. I am a huge fan of Ms. Rooneys shows, but I have to call BS when I see it. Perhaps next year when the campaign machines fire up again, all the candidates will have some kind of representation on Ms. Rooneys shows. One last point to me, Mr. Cahill ran on a platform that shunned the extreme political polarization and vitriol of the time. Its too bad that it took the rest of us one full year and a shooting in Arizonato buy into it.

After making an unsuccessful run for governor last year, former state treasurer Tim Cahill is adjusting to life outside of public service. Cahill joins Emily to talk about the campaign and his plans for a life after politics.
