The Vatican dealt another setback to local groups hoping to stave off the shuttering of six area churches. The groups have been fighting the Boston Archdiocese's decision to close the churches for almost eight years. Despite the upsetting news, the parish groups plan to appeal the decision to the Vatican’s highest court. Thanks for having this terrific show. My family and are so relieved that Mr. Hitner is trying to reform these awful laws. We are suffering horribly and have been for years under them. My husbands only child is now alienated from him after a 3rd return to court after he lost his job. These laws are sick, sick, sick, and the lawyer from the Mass Bar Association just wants more litigation and more legal bills and more money from people like us. It is time for new law that spells things out instead of giving money to lawyers and more power to judges. I hope you will keep covering this issue!
