The art of enjoying the summer just got a whole lot easier, with reviews, previews and highlights, courtesy of WGBHArts. Greater Boston's arts reporter Jared Bowen leads a group of bloggers, previewing and reviewing the summer's top arts events. 

 

This week, Disney’s “The Lion King” opened at the Boston Opera House. The show is directed by Julie Taymore, the first woman to win a Tony Award for best director of a musical. “Greater Boston” took a safari behind the scenes of the “Lion King” in 2004.
