It’s been two years since disgraced financier Bernard Madoff was arrested for orchestrating the largest Ponzi Scheme in US history. But the effects of his scam are still being felt today. Over the weekend, Madoff’s oldest son took his own life. Boston philanthropist Carl Shapiro agreed to return $625 million worth of Madoff earnings while the Jewish women’s organization Hadassah agreed to return its Madoff profits. Emily is joined by attorney Gaytri Kachroo who is representing Madoff’s investors and George Christin who lost millions in Madoff’s scheme.
