The art of enjoying the summer just got a whole lot easier, with reviews, previews and highlights, courtesy of WGBHArts. Greater Boston's arts reporter Jared Bowen leads a group of bloggers, previewing and reviewing the summer's top arts events. 

Last week, a gruesome photo on the cover of Time renewed attention to the issue of violence against women in Afghanistan. The Cambridge non-profit Empower Peace invited young women from around the world to participate in a conference and give them the leadership skills needed to bring reform to their countries. Emily speaks with two Afghan girls about bringing change to Afghanistan.
