I am watching this show as I write this and I am so disapointed. I am willing to listen to a balanced discussion of how the impact of illegal immigration impacts the country for good and bad and on the illegal people for good and bad. Although I believe illegal immigration has been on balance a negative for this country we clearly have to provide some consideration for people who have been here many years, especially with children who know no other country. But this show is so biased that it loses all credibilty and I will look to other places to better understand the issue. I was looking for a balanced approach. This show did not display any balance. Let me illisrate just one point. To say that someone driving around with no license and no insurance is a minor crime to me is ludicrous. If so, I shall start to do the same and at the same time. I will save me a lot of money. I shall also start to ignore the laws that the IRS demands be placed upon me. If others can chose to ignore laws which are inconvenient so can I.

What a disappointment. I finally shut off the TV at 24 minutes into the program. Maria Hinojosas judgmental and officious tone was offensive. The content of this show amounted to liberal political propaganda. Especially offensive was the suggestion that Americans are poor role models. Perhaps these illegals should take responsibility for their illegality. Like anyone, I am sympathetic to the plight of these people, but they did bring this on themselves. Kudos to President Obama for listening to the American people.

I could not believe that I was watching Frontline, half way through this episode. Maria Hinojosa is the most biased reporter on PBS and I look forward to her exit. To see her bash President Obama for finally doing what the majority of Americans have been asking for just infuriated me. I am a compassionate person but find it difficult to feel sorry for the people in this story that brought their hardship and detention on themselves and their families by entering or staying in this country ILLEGALLY! I know what would happen to me if I entered another country illegally or overstayed my visa, I would be thrown in jail and be deported, or possibly worse. The people in this story should not expect the USA to be any different.

This report is 100 different from what I have watched and heard on TV, etc.for quite a while now. Too bad they are ILLEGAL. They should not be here period. According to MANY other sources president OBAMA wants to legalize ALL the illegals. If that ever happens it will be a disaster to the US Economy....Dick MacDonald Needham, MA

Maria Hinojosa reports on U.S. immigration policies since President Obama took office. Included: the record number of deportations (about double the rate of the Bush years); claims that families have been unfairly separated; Republican criticism.
