About Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman
Part game show, part reality TV, and part spoof, Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman features real kids, real challenges, real science, and an unreal animated host — a dog named Ruff Ruffman. Produced by WGBH, the series mixes live action with animation and breaks the mold with its educational and comical take on America's hottest television genre. Targeting 6- to 8-year-olds, the series is spontaneous, unscripted, and full of surprises.
Ruff is attracted to a poodle, who tells him he has bad breath. Also: he sends one team to learn ballroom dancing, and has a second team investigate whether dogs' mouths are cleaner than humans' mouths.
