Internationally acclaimed violinist Gil Shaham's work ranges from chamber music to guest appearances with major orchestras all over the world. He plays the 1699 "Countess Polignac" Stradivarius violin. Shaham visited Boston in October 2008 to perform Stravinsky's Violin Concerto with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and stopped by WGBH to talk with Cathy Fuller about that work and more.
