The Frederick Historic Piano Collection is not a museum. The 23 pianos that reside in Ashburnham, Massachusetts can all be played. And hearing the distinct voices of these instruments ranging from roughly 1795 to 1907 is a way to hear to the sounds composers from Beethvoven to Debussy were using when they composed.
