From Our Studios: Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul

Fiddler Eileen Ivers gained fame in the late 1990s as the star fiddler of the original Riverdance cast. Representing the US, she has won nine all-Ireland fiddle championships, a 10th on tenor banjo, and more than 30 championship medals, becoming one of the most awarded musicians ever to compete in such competitions. Here, Ivers and her band, Immigrant Soul, perform a blend of traditional Irish fiddle and world music.
