Politics, As Usual — Carol Johnson Cover-up?
Mitt Romney's image problems continue, and President Obama suffers from lackluster jobs numbers for the second straight month, but the biggest news of the week is Boston School Superintendent Carol Johnson's failure to suspend John D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics & Science headmaster Rodney Peterson last year after he was arrested and briefly jailed for domestic assault charges.
Allegedly, Johnson told Peterson he could continue working provided the media remained in the dark about his probation. Unfortunately for Johnson, the news leaked when Peterson applied for a job in Memphis and the media, including David Bernstein and Rob Eno, has plenty to say about it.
Guests:
David Bernstein, Boston Phoenix political reporter and author of 'Talking Politics’ blog
Rob Eno, Red Mass Group blogger
