Basic Black Live: The Black Agenda

(Originally broadcast on April 29, 2010)  This week on Basic Black: The "Black Agenda." Questions have arisen about whether President Obama is doing enough for African American communities. But there are also those who say that developing a plan for the progress of black Americans should not be the left in the hands of one person, even if he is the President. Our panelists tonight: Rev. Ray Hammond, Senior Pastor Bethel AME; Kim McLarin, writer-in-residence, Emerson College; Callie Crossley, The Callie Crossley Show on WGBH 89.7; Charles Ogletree, professor of law, Harvard Law School; and Darnell Williams, Executive Director of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts.
