Ask This Old House® returns for its 10th anniversary season, featuring tips, practical advice, and real experts solving everyday home improvement problems. As part of the new season, Ask This Old House will feature more projects on the road, visiting Atlanta, GA, Philadelphia, PA, San Francisco, CA, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, Washington, D.C., and making stops around the Boston area to help homeowners with projects around the house.

This Old House is kicking off the second-oldest renovation project in the history of the show. The crew will be in Bedford, Mass., revamping a historically significant Colonial post-and-beam house dating back to the early 1700s. Homeowners and DIY enthusiasts Rebecca and Joe love the rustic and imperfect parts of the house, but they’d like to expand to make room for their daughter and two dogs, and to have enough space for extended family visits. This Old House’s team of experts will renovate the charming late First Period/Early Georgian, adding two modest additions in keeping with the period feel.
