Brian O'Donovan begins with a waltz from a new album to the playlist, "Sailing Back to You", by Mcauley, Horan, & O'Cauimh. Later in the broadcast O'Donovan features a track from Kevin Burke and plays music from a three pack of albums that can be purchased while simultaneously supporting WGBH & A Celtic Sojourn running strong. These include Heid Talbot's latest album, "Exiles Return" from Karen Casey & John Doyle, and "Yella Hoose" by John McCusker.

On this edition of A Celtic Sojourn, host Brian O'Donovan explores a new CD that brings together four of the luminaries of New York City's thriving Irish American musical community: Joanie Madden, Billy McComiskey, Brian Conway, and Brendan Dolan. The CD is reflective of the regional influences each grew up with from their Irish born parents and incorporates the particular stamp New York City made on their approach.
