The Northumbrian Small Pipes are a facinating variant of the Irish Uileann Pipes—better known as the Scottish Highland or War Pipes—and have a sweet and, well, smaller sound. They come from the north-east corner of England, an area steeped in a blend of traditional Celtic and English folk music.
